You know it, we know it, everybody knows it – the longer you wait, the deeper your business will sink into the quicksand of of issues:
Human error
Slow deployment
Low visibility and governance
Infrastructure-as-Code is the clear solution to legacy tech because it allows you to:
Reproduce environments across 1000s of projects automatically
Track changes centrally
Gain better knowledge of your infra
How does it work?
Infraimport offers you full control over your infrastructure from one location, increasing productivity by drastically reducing time to market and human error. Watch as we show you how to use Infraimport to import an already existing infrastructure from Google Cloud Platform. In a couple of clicks you'll have the corresponding Terraform ready for automation and industrialization in your git. Infraimport works with public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructures, whether they've been manually created or not, and facilitates the use of infra's code in a repeatable manner across all your environments. Infraimport allows you to build your IAC stacks quickly and conveniently from an already deployed infra. This also allows you to detect unwanted changes and drift between your deployment project status and the actual infrastructure that's been deployed. With Cycloid and Infra import, you'll be able to regain control of your runaway infra.
Step 1: Choose your cloud provider
Select your cloud provider and credentials to connect and import your deployed infrastructure.
Step 2: Select your resources
Select the resources you want to import.
Step 3: Name your stack
Enter the name of the stack you want to create and the catalog repository where Infra Import will store it. The generated stacks will allow you to reuse and industrialize your old infra as easily as your new.
Step 4: Enter the project details
Name your project, the config repository where the project configuration will be stored, and the location of your Terraform state file. Your import is underway!
Outcomes with Cycloid
