Cycloid is a Certified B Corp. A note on why, and on what we are held to now, from our founder.
At Cycloid, we have always wanted platform engineering to serve more than infrastructure management and faster deployments. It should serve people, the planet, and yes, profit. With our B Corp certification, we are putting our money where our mission is.
B Corp certification isn’t about a badge on our website, it’s a process that evaluates our social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. And the result is public. The assessment is scored out of a possible 200. Certification starts at 80, and most businesses that complete it land around 50.9. We scored 95.
That score shows leadership in sustainable tech, ethical governance, and worker empowerment. Put more simply, it reflects the three things we run the company on, in this order.

People
We are remote-first, with team members across Europe. That is not only about flexibility. It is about inclusivity and wellbeing, about transparency and a sense of control, and making sure every voice is heard and valued. Nothing happens in isolation. If we pull together, we go further.

Planet
Our commitment to the environment is baked into how we govern. Through GreenOps, cloud carbon efficiency, and eco principles, we work to reduce our own footprint and the footprint of every client whose infrastructure runs through the platform.

Profit
Profit is not a dirty word. It is the basis of business. But we believe in profit that does not come at the expense of the other two Ps, in long-term, equitable value creation instead of growth at all costs.
We are not perfect, and we do not claim to be. It’s not just a checkpoint, we’re committed to improvement. We’ll continue to look at our diversity and inclusion, implement more cloud resource management strategies to reduce our emissions, and expand our GreenOps offer to help businesses in their sustainability journeys.
We sit for the full assessment again every three years.
