In contrast to Cloudbolt which comes from the traditional world of Cloud management platforms and a more Do-It-Yourself approach with development of plugin in Python, Cycloid’s background is in the DevOps, DevX, and Hybrid Cloud with a strong GitOps and Open Source approach. We are much more integrated with Terraform, Ansible, K8S, modern tools rather than traditional API calls from Cloudbolt.
Governance, deployment, operations and optimization in one place
Cycloid is an engineering platform designed to improve the developer experience and operational efficiency to facilitate change management. Your platform engineering team will design, build and maintain Cycloid as an internal developer platform to allow any end-users to interact with tools and cloud without the need to become an expert. You create your own platform to define the governance and the level of flexibility wanted, whether you’re a single enterprise or an MSP running a cloud management portal for many clients. It’s based on your Git and is tool and cloud provider-agnostic.
